Capsule is not a franchise or an internationally owned company. The owners of Capsule live in DFW and operate the company themselves with the help of a dedicated team all based and living in DFW. PODS Enterprises, LLC is headquartered in Florida and owned by the Canadian Labor Union, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.
Capsule Containers are built with Texas weather in mind. Small modifications and improvement over the years have been made based on our experience dealing with the Texas climate. This includes Steel Roofs, additional ventilation, extra door seals, advanced seals and construction techniques.
We have steel roofs, walls, vents, and reinforced bases that have 3/4" marine grade plywood. We do not have plastic roofs.
Our roofs are corrugated and sloped. This is to ensure water will not accumulate and corrode, or compromise the structural or weather proofness of the Capsule.
Capsules are built with dual doors that swing out. We chose this option over roll up doors for 2 big reasons. They are easier to open, and are more secure from both weather and tampering.
Once moved into a Capsule, your rate is locked in. We do not change our clients rent regardless of if you stay in 3 months, or 2 years. We do not base our rental rates on term contracts. We have not heard of anyone else in the country doing this. As long as you keep current on your account, your good with us!
Staying true to our locked in rental rates, we do not charge additional monthly rent if you need us to store it for you. The only additional cost are the transport fees in or back out.
Weirdly, we do not have a "SALES" person, or anyone who works on commission style wages. We have a knowledgeable dispatcher who will help answer any of your questions and get you on the schedule if needed. You can even book online. When you give us your email and number we don't harass you or put you an a marketing email list. You simply get a copy of your quote, and a NON automated text message from our dispatcher in case you want to ask questions. You can always respond to the email, text, or give us a call and our dispatcher will talk with you.
When you communicate with us, you're communicating with the same team that works at the same DFW location. You do not get a call center or answering service. You will deal with the same dispatcher and team of drivers from start to finish.
Our remote control machine keeps the Capsule level while loading or unloading from the truck.
Our remote control machine allows us to place the container in some of the narrowest placements in the industry. Our competitors have and still send customers to us, when they cant get it done. We require at least 9Ft wide and 9ft height clearance for placement.
We only build 8x16ft Capsule Containers, if you've seen a Capsule in the wild that's the size we provide. We do not offer 8, 12, or 20ft containers. The reason is: 16fts are the most commonly needed, they fit within a standard driveway, parking spot, and they have a higher weight limit than a 20ft. It is also a logistical benefit, and isn't any cheaper for us to build smaller, so it wouldn't save you much money in rent.
CAPSULE: Compact Solutions that go where others can't
Container Clearance Requirements
The CAPSULE Mule Delivery System
The CAPSULE Mule Delivery System is a key differentiator, offering unmatched versatility and strength. It enables us to position our containers in locations where PODS® simply can't go.
The CAPSULE Mule only needs one parking space to place a container
PODS® PODzilla® needs three parking spaces to place a container
Even though the containers are both 16' PODzilla® requires three open parking spoaces in order to place a container and the CAPSULE Mule onl requires one parking space.
If you're looking for mobile storage, look no further. Capsule is locally owned and incredibly easy
to work with. From first call to pickup, they ROCK. Forget everybody else, use Capsule!
